Aamir S. Ibrahim

Aamir S. Ibrahim is an attorney at Quan Law Group in Houston, Texas. With a foundation in business law and a strong academic background in finance, Mr. Ibrahim offers a strategic, commercially informed perspective on complex immigration matters involving employers, investors, and skilled professionals. 

He represents businesses, individuals, and families in a broad range of immigration matters, including employment-based and family-based petitions, nonimmigrant visa applications, naturalization, and humanitarian relief. His understanding of business principles enables him to approach employment-based immigration with a results-driven mindset, aligning legal strategies with clients’ broader organizational and economic goals.

Prior to joining Quan Law Group, Mr. Ibrahim served as a Staff Attorney with the Immigrant Legal Services Fund (ILSF), the Afghan Placement and Assistance Legal (APAL) Program, and the Nationally Qualified Representative Program (NQRP), all through the YMCA of Greater Houston – International Services. In these roles, he gained courtroom experience in removal defense before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) and played a key role in humanitarian efforts, assisting over 100 Afghan families in navigating the U.S. immigration system and resettling their lives after the fall of Kabul.

He earned his J.D. with honors from Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where he was published in theThurgood Marshall Law Review and was the winner of the law school’s Women of Law – Lois Prestage Woods Sports Negotiation Competition. During law school, he also clerked for a private business litigation firm and worked on matters involving business formation, corporate restructuring, contract negotiation, and commercial transactions. He was selected for the Texas Legislative Internship Program (TLIP), serving as a Legislative Policy Intern under Rodney Ellis, then Harris County Commissioner and former President Pro Tempore of the Texas Senate, and under Erica Lee Carter, former U.S. Representative.

Mr. Ibrahim holds dual B.B.A. degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business, graduating from the nationally ranked Cyvia and Melvyn Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship. He also competed as a track and field athlete during his time at the university. He maintains membership and active involvement in the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the Houston Bar Association (HBA), and the Sports Lawyers Association (SLA).

Mr. Ibrahim’s commitment to immigration law is deeply personal, shaped by his own family’s experience as refugees from Uganda in 1972. This lived experience drives his compassionate, client-centered approach to advocacy.
