Rahman Nasir | Attorney
Rahman Nasir, Immigration Attorney for Quan Law Group is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center. The son of Pakistani immigrants, Mr. Nasir has a deep appreciation of the immigration process. During his time in law school, Mr. Nasir participated in the UH Law Center’s Immigration Clinic where he gained experience in humanitarian immigration matters. He also served as an intern and later an associate with Global Lawyers for Refugees where he represented several individuals escaping religious persecution. Mr. Nasir also interned with another law firm where he worked on employment-based immigration cases, including National Interest Waivers (NIWs). Mr. Nasir is currently a member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Lawyers Association (AMLA) and provides pro bono assistance and mentorship through the association.
Prior to law school, Mr. Nasir earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Public Health. As an undergraduate student he led over 100 volunteers addressing the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey cleaning homes and collecting donations. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Nasir led efforts to distribute thousands of tons of food to Houston residents in partnership with the Houston Food Bank and the City of Houston. Mr. Nasir also served on medical missions to Guatemala and Pakistan and conducted basketball camps in Chiapas, Mexico and in underserved communities in America.
At Quan Law Group, Mr. Nasir is active in the firm’s litigation section. He also works with clients who have been victims of crimes, those seeking asylum, and various other immigration matters.
