| | José R. Pérez, Jr. immigrated from Cuba to the
United States, with his family, at the age of ten. He is board certified in Immigration
and Nationality Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and earned inclusion
in Who's Who in American Law since 2003. He is actively involved with immigration
issues relating to health care professionals, employment and family based immigration
and consular issues. He is a frequent speaker on immigration and consular matters
at the National Immigration Lawyers' Conference, foreign student advisors' conferences
and health care associations. He is currently co-consular liaison of the AILA
Texas Chapter regarding consular matters at U.S. Consulates in Mexico.
